CLASS SCHEDULE

MONDAYS: Painting Studio

• This class explores the elements of color, line, and shape through abstract and representational painting. Artists will develop technical skills for various types of drawing and painting tools, and learn to balance careful decision-making with allowing artistic inspiration to flow.

TUESDAYS: Clay Hand-Building

• Our clay hand-building classes are the perfect opportunity for artists to work with Scribble's favorite sculptural medium: CLAY! We'll explore various hand-building techniques using traditional clay tools and our most important sculpting tools: hands! Artists will make both functional and aesthetic ceramic pieces and once they're fired, experiment with bright and colorful glazes. Perfect for artists who love to build, sculpt and construct!

WEDNESDAYS: Toy Design

• This class explores the intersection of functional design and imaginative art-making through sculpture, painting, and collage techniques. In this class, artists learn to design and build toys and games that “work” and are, of course, beautifully creative and unique!

THURSDAYS: Printing Press

• This class explores the elements of color, line, and texture through traditional and nontraditional printing methods. Printmaking is an amazing way for artists to explore layering, color theory, and how to utilize having multiple of one piece of artwork.

FRIDAYS: Graphic Novels

• In this class, artists create their own original graphic novels from start to finish: from character design and storyboarding, to drawing and inking their panels, to adding color and binding their pages into a working book!
