In 2015, we had a couple of Inwood families relocate to a little town north of the city called Hastings-on-Hudson and they were wondering if Scribble could follow them. It was with these original "Scribble families" plus our favorite Scribble teacher, Sioux, who had recently moved to Croton-on-Hudson, that our Westchester studio was born. We outgrew our Hastings studio within a year and moved to our current location in Dobbs Ferry and this location has continued to grow with a space expansion in 2024.

Our Dobbs Ferry studio is a welcoming, sunlight-filled, creative space. With our recent expansion, we also created a clay hand-building program with the use of a full-size kiln.

Here, we encourage our young artists to explore all sorts of art-making including painting, sculpture, comic book illustration, and printmaking. On a typical day in the studio, you'll find toddlers and pre-schoolers exploring materials in the mornings and our after-school clubhouse abuzz with socializing and creativity in the afternoons. On the weekends, our studio is packed with birthday parties!
