General Cancellation and Refund Policy

FOR CLASSES

  • If you cancel your registration 30 or more days before the start of the program, you are eligible for a full refund.

  • If the class is cancelled by Scribble Art Workshop, you are eligible for a full refund.

  • If you cancel your registration less than 30 days before the start of the program but before the first day of class, you are eligible for a partial refund, minus a $50 processing fee.

  • If you cancel your registration during the first week of class, a credit will be issued and can be used in any other age-appropriate Scribble Art Workshop class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment.

  • If you cancel your registration after the first week of class, there will be no credits or refunds issued.

  • If you miss an individual class while the program is in session, there are no credits, refunds, or make-up classes.

FOR SCHOOL’S OUT WORKSHOPS, DROP & DINES, AND SATURDAY ART WORKSHOPS

There are no refunds regardless of cancellation time. If cancellation is requested more than 24 hours before the start of the program, a credit will be issued and can be used in any other age-appropriate Scribble Art Workshop class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment.

FOR SUMMER CAMP

Registration requires a $200 non-refundable deposit per camper. Full refunds (not including deposit) will be given until May 1st. For cancellations after May 1st up until 7 days before the enrolled week, a program credit will be issued (minus the deposit) and can be used in any other age-appropriate class within one year of original enrollment. If cancellations are made 6 days or less before the enrolled week, there are no credits or refunds. If cancellations are made during the week of camp for any reason including illness, there are no credits, refunds, or make-ups for any missed days.

FOR PARTIES

If a party is cancelled (for any reason), Scribble will retain the $150 non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking. We ask that outdoor parties make weather cancellations at least 36 hours in advance so we can alert our teachers accordingly. Parties that are rescheduled within 2 months of the originally scheduled party date can apply the deposit towards payment of the party. Parties rescheduled after 2 months from the originally scheduled party date will forfeit the deposit and be required to submit a new deposit upon booking.

FINE PRINT

We submit to the jurisdiction of the state of New York with respect to any disputes regarding this contract and/or Scribble Art Workshop. Further, if there is a dispute, then the prevailing party in the dispute shall be entitled to recover the costs and fees (including reasonable attorney fees) incurred in connection with the dispute. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to program directors or managers. 

COVID-19 Safety Policy (updated 8/22/23)

IF A STUDENT OR STAFF PERSON TESTS POSITIVE

If someone tests positive, according to the CDC guidelines, they will count day 1 as the day they test positive or the first day of symptoms. They should quarantine days 1-5 and return to camp on day 6 if they are symptom free. From days 6-10, they must wear an N95/KN95 mask at when indoors. Eating will happen outdoors and be socially distanced from others.

IF A STUDENT OR STAFF PERSON HAS A CLOSE CONTACT WHO HAS COVID-19

A close contact is considered being within 6 feet of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 for more than 15 minutes in the 2 days before they tested positive. If a student or teacher has a close contact who has COVID-19, they should monitor for symptoms and test daily for 10 days from the last exposure.
