Silkscreen Parties
Host a Silkscreening Party at our Boulder Studio! The birthday kid and their guests will have a blast making wearable art, eating and socializing together in our creative space.

COST
$450 for 2 hours of party time (2.5 hours of studio access, including set up and pack up)
$10 - $18 per child for materials kits (see project options)
SCHEDULE
15 minutes: Set up
15 minutes: Guest arrival & welcome activity
35 minutes: Art activity part 1 (see project options)
35 minutes: Eat & celebrate
35 minutes: Art activity part 2
15 minutes: Pack up
*If over 15 guests, schedule will change to art-making for 70 minutes straight followed by 35 minutes of eating and celebrating!
PROJECT OPTIONS
T-shirt Silkscreening $18 / child
Our T-shirt Silkscreening project is a combination of fiber arts, printmaking and good ol' fashioned tie dye. We'll start by tie dying organic cotton t-shirts in vibrant colors! Then guests will silkscreen a design onto their dyed shirt. Artists will leave with their own unique hand-printed apparel! The birthday child will choose from a catalog of silkscreened designs for their party and each guest will print on an organic cotton tee. Tees will be heat set before the end of the party so they can be washed and worn!
Bandana Printing $10 / child
Our Bandana Printing project is a combination of fiber arts, silkscreening and stamping. We'll start by each guest silkscreening a design onto their colored bandana. Then, artists will use wood cut stamps to create patterns or designs around their central print. The birthday child will choose from a catalog of silkscreened designs for their party and each guest will print on an organic cotton bandana. Bandanas will be heat set so they can be repeatedly washed and worn!

HEADCOUNT & STUDIO CAPACITY
Our studio has a capacity of 30 individuals altogether and space for 20 artists. This means that if parents are staying with their children during the party (required if children are younger than Pre-School), there must be a lower headcount of guests. The number of adults is not included the price, but will need to be factored into the maximum capacity.
We'll need a final headcount 2 weeks in advance in order to make sure we have enough staff and materials prepared.
Please note that booking must be done a minimum of 4 weeks in advance
School Field Trips
Join us at our silkscreening studio where your students can print their own school merch! Students will create one-of-kind dyed tees overlaid with your school's printed logo (1-color logo). You must send us your school logo at least 2 weeks before the trip. Field trips include a 2-hour visit with our teaching artists.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
10-10:10am: Arrive and settle in
10:10-10:40am: Artists dye their t-shirts
10:40-11:10am: Open-ended printing activity (t-shirts dry)
11:10-11:40am: Silk screen shirts + posters
11:40-12pm: Heat set shirts while students have snack or lunch
