Tween Knitting & Weaving

FOR 9-14 YEAR OLDS

This class will focus on exploring different methods and techniques of knitting and weaving for beginner fiber artists. We'll begin by making our own looms and then use them to create intricate 2-color “drawings” (abstract or representational) out of yarn. Our second project will include learning the fundamentals of knitting to create our own pencil cases or pouches. This class is perfect for tweens who are interested in designing both fine and functional art out of fibers!
